Today, March 12, 2011. My name is Vadim Zaporozhtsev. I taught yoga. This is a lecture of the International Open Yoga University. We are in Cultural Center “Enlightenment” in Moscow. Today we will continue our research in the field of analysis of the concept of Freedom. And how does it relate to yoga. And before we go any further, we ask someone to remind us what we were doing in the previous lecture. Do you wish?

Four objectives of our life

Dharma is means to walk a spiritual path. But after this is Artha – this mastery is when you are so well woven into the society in the world that you are engaged in interesting and favourite business, you work, you like your job and at the same time your work is in demand and, consequently, well paid. Therefore, the concept of Artha is a reliable financial rears. For some reason all forget about it. Next comes the notion of Kama. The word Kama means pleasure. Now more the concept of Kama is associated with the infamous Kama Sutra, a compendium of sexual positions. This is actually the usual Western perversion of the highest moments came from the East. From a position of freedom you can build whatever its manifestation, or rather, its manifestations you can get form your Universe, your inner world, your outer world, whatever. The concept of freedom more fundamental. And if ever you want to build a world without the concept of unhappiness, but with the concept of happiness, you can easily build. Let us analyze the concept of “freedom” and “happiness” from the Yoga sutras of Patanjali. There was a man of ancient Patanjali. It is known that he wrote the treatise.
